Most of you probably already know, but we're having a little baby boy! We are so excited! It's amazing how much more connected I already feel to him just knowing his gender...and how much I already love him even though he's not even born yet! I have to admit though, I had already been calling him Jack for several weeks because I was just so certain he was a boy! We are naming him after John- John Joseph W the 4th, but we will call him Jack to avoid confusion. Also, John's grandfather (John Joseph W, Sr) was called Jack. He passed away in September so calling our son Jack is something very special to John. I will still be the only girl for a few more years! And most importantly, Sophie will still be our baby girl! I have one of each already! His little face looks so sweet everything is healthy and normal. I couldnt ask for anything more!
We went to Knoxville this weekend to visit my mom and Brice and celebrate. Naturally, my mom and I did some shopping for Jack... Im trying hard not to buy him too much too soon, it's hard though! I have been amazed at what a better selection there is of little girl baby clothes. I already feel like a "boy's mom," because I have been thinking it's just not fair that my little man doesn't have as good of a selection! I am such a girly girl myself that it's been fun and different to start thinking of having a little boy- I already can't wait for him to arrive!

I couldn't be more thrilled for you and John. It's an exciting time for you two, and just think... the fun hasn't started yet until Jack makes his grand entrance into the world!! You will be a wonderful mother for little Jack and John will be a great dad. And the best part is that he will never want to borrow any of your things being a boy!! Feel blessed that Jack is healthy and growing right on schedule. Would love to see pics of the ultrasound.
