Over The Weekend...!

Well, it's John this time, Catherine is staying very busy and resting when she can!  I try to encourage it :)

We had such a good weekend, now I think I will tell you all a little about it...  On Saturday I went golfing with Dad, Matt, and Frank Hill (a contact from work, really good guy).  When we got done, and my dad was reading out the score card and who owed who how much money, all i kept hearing was "Matt owes J3 $$, I owe John $$, and Frank you owe John $$"  Music to my ears! And my dad hates saying it! For those of you who have ever played golf with me, it is rare I actually WIN money, so it was a good round for me!  

Then that night we had Chauncy, Aimee, Haley, Chelsea, and Brendon over for a cookout, which was a blast! (for those of you who dont know, those are our wonderful neighbors).  Catherine made homemade potato salad and baked beans, SO GOOD!  Oh, before I forget to tell you, C made the most wonderful homemade brownies from scratch! you know, the kind that are soft and gooie on the inside, and crispy edges... YUM! i think we went through the whole pan in about 3 days! haha

On Sunday we went to mass, which was good.  Then we saw my mom for a little bit and gave her a little something for Mother's day, I think she enjoyed it, we sure did!  Then we went home and I watched Henrick Stenson totally dominate the Player's Championship and took a nap, and Catherine and Sophie sat outside and read a book (yes, Sophie probably read the book too! haha)

Anyway, I am sure you will hear from Catherine soon enough, hope you all enjoyed your Mother's Day weekend as well!  Oh, and Happy Belated Mother's day to all mom's reading!  We had a good time celebrating Mother's day with Catherine :)  Of course, she has been a mother for going on 5 years now to our little princess, Sophie!  But her AND Jack both got her something and we celebrated mother's day from both of them.  It was wonderful!
