Saturday night we had dinner at one of John's high school friends houses. His friend, Jeff, lives in Boston and was visiting his family for Easter. We had an amazing time! The group consisted of a bunch of John's high school guy friends, Jeff's parents, and me... being the only girl among a group of guys gave me a glimpse of my life to come in about twenty five years when I am the mom cooking for a group of guys... that is, if we don't have any girls! It was great to catch up with everyone... even though I was the only sober one and the designated driver, I didn't even mind because it was so fun! Although, secretly, part of me can't wait to have a glass of wine again! Lindsey- if you're reading- promise me you will come visit me once Jack is born so we can have wine and brie (two things I'm not supposed to have right now) and watch Tuscy while John watches the baby!
Easter was so much fun! After Mass and brunch with John's family we went to our neighbor's house for a small get together. We are so blessed to have such wonderful neighbors who we really enjoy. All in all it was a great day!
